It looks like "Caune" but Findmypast has it as "Jno Crane". So the first letter is a "C", the second is an "r" and not an "a", the third is an "a" and not a "u". Hurray, this is John Crane, and therefore almost certainly the father of Catharine Craine, wife of Robert Gelling.
John Craine is likely the one who was buried 20 Apr 1849 Braddan age 70 (Brian's burial index) and there's a will for him too on the index.
