I have carried out some further research into my grandfather and have confirmed that he is indeed Walter Braid born 1901. I have discovered that Walter's sister's married name was Leah Robina FARAGHER, living at 9 Allen Street, Douglas in, I think, the 1920s. I have also established that his other sister Margaret Annie married into the BRIDSON family and was living at 10 York Road in Douglas in possibly the 1920s too. I have checked out the records available on IOMFHS but I suspect that the marriages may have occurred after the available online data.

Would you be able to suggest other avenues which would perhaps enable me to establish whether I still have relatives on the islands.
