Denise, I'm not aware that you were ever banned? You may have had a posting stopped because of a "naughty" word - which is usually just a word which has been used by spammers.
There has been a lot of discussion about this which you will find if you do a search of the BB archives, and includes where to find a list of the words on a website. It is often ht-tp (without hyphen) which catches people.
