I am working on family history beginning with William Cain born 1765. Some information says he came from Kellybogs, Donegal, Ireland, but we recently gave our DNA to the Cain DNA project and it seems there is a match for Isle of Man. William Cain is the first Cain relative to come to America. He could be just William or William T., and probably many variations of Cain, or Kane, McCain, etc. The first two of William's children, Allen b.1795 and Abel b.1798, we are told, were born in Galway, but do not have any concrete information. Perhaps it is Isle of man. I do not know the name of William's wife. Any help would be greatly appreciated. E. Cain, Tennessee, USA
