Brian adds nothing - born c. 1792 in German - derived from the 1851 census entry which correlates approx with death in patrick - there is no william I can find in a period around 1792 that matches not even among the illegitimates . There is one baptismal entry that has him down(as father) as John - possibly an error (I havn't checked that year in the Registers) but opens up possibility that he was baptised John Wm - but
