Please look at JC's and my comments at the end of the thread regarding famous Manx People. I posted info about a Dr. Francis Kermode whom the Kermode or Spirit Bear of BC was named after as well as Mount Kermode here in BC. The spirit bear is one of our mascots for the 2010 Olympics next February here in BC. I wonder if he is related to your family. Did any ancestors of your move out here to Canada or in general North America?
