Thanks Len up untill a couple of years ago I was unaware of my gran Francis Colenso had a family in the Isle of Man,I allways knew there was a connection as she had told me her mother was from the Island and she had been there as a child to visit,her mother Catherine Jane McKay went to Barrow-in-Furness with her youngest child Fred,I can only suppose to visit her parents John Kneale and Jane Kelly who had moved there a few years earlier,she never returned to her husband and children,Georgina 1881,Archibald 1879,William Archbald 1883,James 1885,Charles Herbert 1888 and Catherine whom married Robert Corran,I know little of my family past as it wasnt spoken about,my gran died 24 years ago she was quite old when I was born,but I have recently aquired a photo of her and one of her stepsister I believe it to be Georgina but I have no proof,I would to find some living family in the Isle of Man so if anyone knows if there are any could you send them my way,thanks again Gillian
