Does anyone happen to know whether 6yr old Edwin Gawne was a relation of the Costain family where he was staying on census night in 1841 ? In 1851, the Costain children, by now in their 20s, have moved to Cronkmoar where 27 year old John is head of household farming 60 acres, and 15 year old Edwin Gawne is still lodging with them.
