This is the GRO reference (from the website FreeBMD) for the birth cert which I think you were referring to:

If he was born in March it is most likely he would be entered in the June quarter. If you supply the ref number the cert is cheaper to buy from the GRO.
However the person who transcribed it has put a "?" next to the page number, which must have been difficult to read, so it might be safer to order it from the local RO.
