I have identified the 1746 will of Thomas Cowin to be the father of Ann Cowin who married Thomas Christian 15 May 1739 Onchan. They are my ancestors. Thomas and Anne's first child, Bahee baptized 14 Aug 1739 Onchan married David Gelling in 1765 in Lonan, and are my 4xg-grandparents.

I have figured out that Thomas Cowin's parents are Philip Cowin d 1732 Lonan and Ellin Kewley (d 1724 Lonan) but I haven't determined Thomas's wife yet, though have 8 children. Perhaps Isabella Christian md 1730 is a 2nd wife as there is a gap (5 before) between 1723 and 1732 (3 after) in the children (Onchan bapt's don't list mother)
