Thanks for the quick response. However, I can't see anything that would correspond to a typo on date or name. The thing is, I have got a baptism for a Jane d/o Ann in Feb 1834, and in addition to Brian's index I have at some time copied the following from an on-line source. I thought it might have been Manx Notebook (seems not) and I must have lost my password for the members-only page for the IOMFHS link above, so I can't check that. Even if it came from there - same question, what other source could there be?
