"The Cliff" was a big house in North Douglas though in Onchan civil parish it would I think have been in Braddan ecclesiastical parish - the other 'Cliff' names in Braddan are Falcon Cliff etc + Cliff House (a lodging house in 1881 - decribed as cottages today)
