In 2006 found details of interment of ashes for Rev. Sidney Benson Botwood and his wife via this message board.

I have now confirmed via their death certificates that Benson (as he was known) had a daughter, Nina Gertrude Botwood, born 3rd Aug 1914 (died 2003), however have not been able to find her birth record in the UK or her baptism record on the IGI web site.

From 1913 Benson was vicar of Kirk Bride so I am assuming that Nina was born on the IOM.

Please can you advise of anyone who could search for either a birth or baptism record for Nina. Once I have a reference (if found) I can order up the certificate from Douglas.

One of the main reasons for finding this record is to identify the maiden name of Benson's wife (Alice Martha) which have not been able to track down. Again I am assuming they were married on the IOM between 1901 and 1914.

Any advice you can offer would be much appreciated.
