THANKS TO ALL OF YOU

Over the past 3 years I have had many earnest responses to my search for background and family of my convict ancestor Sarah LYNCHEY.
Although I have nothing certain prior to her trial at Castle Rushen I have gained a wealth of information on likely connections and have learned a lot about the Island that my grandmother (Sarah’s G granddaughter) told me of when I was very young, snuggled up in bed with her.
I would like to thank all who responded over these years and while not wishing to leave anyone out I wish to acknowledge the help I have received from, amongst many others, Frances, Liz, Sue, Mary M, Pat Galovich, Marie Radcliffe and the late Brian Lawson.
Like my other convict, from London, I think that it was just too early for organised records to be properly organised.
I will continue to monitor the Board, however unless I come up with something new that perhaps may lead to some success, or see something on the board that may suggest some new avenue of research I will for now direct my research to other ancestors from England, Scotland, Germany, New York and New Zealand.
Thank you all so much and may you find the success that has eluded me.

Cheers
