Hi Janet, thanks for the info about the 5 births in West Derby.
Have gone back to Lawsons Index and scrutinised it again and now looking at the William Henry born to Richard WH Corrin & Annie Woodhead. This Richard WH Corrin is Annie's brother we think .. Richard WH Cowin age 18 on 1881 census.
So we are now thinking William Henry Corrin was either "adopted" or just brought up by Annie & William. No proof or anything at the moment ... but following a lead. Also can't find anything further than 1881 Census of a Richard W H Corrin being around.
Have found Richard WH Corrin being born to Henry & Alice (which would be right) on an IGI and found a marriage IGI in 1883 for Richard and Annie Elizabeth Woodhead.
So at the moment are thoughts are turning to this William Henry b 25.4.85 to Richard & Annie could be "our William" that we are hunting.
