I dont have access to any census records now, could anyone kindly tell me if it gives the place of birth in Ireland for Joseph McCormick. I had hoped he was the brother of James McCormick bc 1830 County Down who married Mary Creer.
IGI gives the birth of a James and a Joseph McCormick Dromore Parish Down Ireland, parents John McCormick and Anne Close and the ages of James and Joseph matched these. Maybe back to the drawing board.......
