John Mann (Man)

Hello,
My name is Bernard Mann. I live in Guffey, Colorado, USA. I am trying to trace my ancestry, and have reason to believe they originated in the Isle of Man.
Here are the known facts of my ancestor:

My great, great, great grandfather was John Mann (or Man). He was born January 9, 1747, and died January 11, 1824 in Richland County, Ohio, USA. I have traced his presence to Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania in the 1780 Tax Records, and the 1790 Census Records. Both of those records show the name of John Man, but I am positive this is my great, great, great grandfather. I know he married a woman named Annie Dean (I don't know where or when) and they had at least 5 children.....John Mann Jr., Alexander Mann, William D. Mann, Samuel Mann, and Jane Mann (Rogers). I am trying to determine:

1. When did John Mann (or Man) come to Pennsylvania, and from where. (I have been told by living relatives that he came from the Isle of Man, and that his ethnicity is Scotch/Irish, but cannot verify this).

2. Did John Mann (Man) come to Pennsylvania by himself, or were there relatives or siblings that came with him.

3. If John Mann (Man) married Annie Dean before immigrating to the USA, did she also come from the Isle of Man?

Any information whatsoever about John Mann (Man) would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
Bernard Mann
