Hi Anthony and Janet many thanks for your replies. Yes my great great grandfather was John Quayle b.1815 (Ballaskella) who married Eleanor Margaret Cowley (of Ballacrammag) in1854 he was 37 and she 17.(they moved to Narradale, Lezayre), they had 11 children.John
Henry Quayle the eldest(My great grandfather) who married Eliza Jane Cannell Callister in1855 in Lezayre, they had 8 children
my grandfather being the 6th child Robert Cannell Quayle. Have you ever visited the island? We still visit the Lezayre cemetery where many of our Quayles are at rest.
