I had spoken with my father this evening, what I do know is that my grandfather Harry Pearson Cubbin died Jan of 1979 at Winthrop University Hospital in NY. He was an only child. His mother's name is Florence. I do not what what his father's name was. Pearson is reportedly a family name which originated in isle of man, though I don't know anything else. My grandfather's son is Robert Pearson Cubbin. I will speak with him to see if I can find any more information. My uncle lives in ny also. I am not a person who was looking for any specific information, though found it amazing when I typed my grandfather's name in the browser, that your post came up. My grandfather was a wonderfully intelligent man and I would be interested to know more about him. I had just graduated college when I lost him. I am 51.
