Moses Canning

Moses Canning a journalist on the Isle of Man married Jane Killip. They had a daughter Gertrude (my grandmother), a son who died at 4 months and another son who died at 7 months but Jane died giving birth to this son. My great grandfather Moses re-married to ? Mary at Barrow in Furness. My query is that at the funeral of Moses the write-up from the press cutting at the time gives another daughter Strappini Canning. I would like to know if this daughter was from the first marriage of Moses to Jane or a daughter of his second wife (? her second marriage too).
Moses died one the Isle of Man December 1912. My father Douglas Canning Jones (son of Gertrude Canning and Charles John Jones) was born March 1913. The only information I was given by my own mother was that my grandmother Gertrude never got over being separated from her sister, but where this sister is (? Strappini) or if she was a step-sister, I am not sure. Any information regarding this would be most appreciated. The name Strappini sound Italian. Thank you to the lady in California who has kindly sent me information regarding the 1891 and 1901 census.
