If you Google "Ballanard"you will find on the tenth item listed a group of people who were discussing the Kewleys of Ballanard" in 2000.
An Alan Johnson seems to have done research into the 18th century. These messages are on the archived file of the Manx Message Board. It seems you can't access the archive file directly anymore at least not the year 2000 so it is best just to Google the messages in question.
