Thanks Marie. My mum has just told me she also remembers someone living with her grandmother Sarah when she lived in Chester Street but can't remember the name. My mother was one of a large family of Cavendishes who all attended St Mary's, in her case up to about 1937.
I would love to see anything you come across about the McNeilleys (never quite sure which spelling to go for!). I wonder if we'll ever discover where abouts in Ireland they came from? I seem to remember my grandmother mentioning County Down, but that might have been the McVeys, or both!
