Thanks for that Marie. The witness Eleanor McQuiggin is John McNeely's niece, through his sister Sarah who married James McVey. In 1895 she married James McQuiggin who at some point is supposed to have drowned in the Bay of Biscay, but I have never managed to track that down yet. Any information relative to these people is interesting, but I'm particularly looking for the McNeelys, McVeys and Cummings who are in my direct line. My hope is that someone has picked up some information about them, even incidentally to their other researches.
