I am researching James Cummings (born c. 1811) who married Jane Moore (born c. 1816). They were recorded as living in Ramsey at the time of the 1841 Census. It says they were from Scotland but I cannot find out where abouts they came from. Also people of the same name are listed on the Familysearch.org website as being born on the Isle of Man. Can anyone help - I would be very grateful for any new information.
