In the 1901 census, Ancestry.com shows 3,900 people as born in the Isle of Man.
Most of these are included in Wales in error and were, in fact, manx residents. Part of the parishes of Lezayre, Michael, Ballaugh and Andreas are erroneously recorded as being in Anglesey, rather than the Isle of Man.
