In 1881 census:-

William Holmes 41, Colne, Organ Builder
Ann wife , 42, Manchester, Stationer
William 12
John 7
James 2

All the sons became organ builders. By 1901 John and James were in Harpurhey and William was in Flixton with his wife Elizabeth, daughter Lilian ,2, and another daughter Annie age 19. I suspect Annie was the daughter of William and Ann.

You will need to confirm details but it looks like she was born and bred in Manchester.
