there are two classes of 'patron submitted' - the 'official' batch correction of previously misread entries (usually obvious as many names from same few years) + the true 'patron submitted' single family - the latter can range from excellent to downright fraudulent.
However few entries in the parish reg pre change to law in 1830's, will link a party to a marriage to their parents (minors are one exception) thus any that claim this have to be assumptions. Likewise few baptismal entries link to a burial though there are a few (usually buried within a day or so, as many entries appear to be batched rather than entered at the time) - I have seen 'transcriptions' that had made the wrong assumption and were not in the original
