I have been searching for a burial record for William's father to no avail.
Is there a Thomas Gawne, wife Elizabeth Gawne als Quay. He was from Cronkbane.
Elizabeth may be the entry 26 Dec 1852 age 50 yrs.
Thomas I think died betwen 1861-1871. His ages in the censuses are somewhat varied and range from a birth date of 1801 to 1807.
