Can enybody help me.
I am searching for the parents of John Kerruish c1800 married to Margaret Looney in Maughold 1821. Margaret's line is well established. Johns however proves more difficult as he now appears not to be part of the Ballellin Keruish's or the Boulevelt Kerruishes but another line.
I have established a connection with the Kerruish's of Glen Vullin Glion y wyllin (with a lot of help from Phillip Allen/Sue Pedersen) and a passage from the Radccliffe book. Apparerntly this John/Margaret Looney sold the land and where said to be "of Ballagilly". In the 1841 census this family was located in Kirk Maughold Street, Maughold, Ramsey, John listed as Head and mariner, also on the census is my wifes second great grandmother Jane Kerruish 1838 Maughold along with 8 other siblings.
I would appreciate any help that would point me in the right direction to obtain this infirmation.
