In documenting my Family Tree, I'm looking for the ancestry of Edward Corran (Born around 1835; emigrated to Montreal at the age of 9), son of John Corran who lived near Farham in the IOM. As our family legends tell it, John owned? a farm which became known as Corran's Folly. Sounds exciting but details are sketchy.
Any help would be appreciated.
