I spent some time in the Heritage Library in Douglas last week, looking at Burial Registers for Malew. I came across 2 additional words(separately), written as if they were perhaps place names.

One was 'Factory' in 1829 and 1841 (same family name - Schofield). The other is 'Jinks' in 1793 for John Corrin and again in 1839 for Ann Corrin as well as the placename 'Derbyhaven'.

I did ask the librarians, but they were unable to help. I wonder if any of you might know the answer?
