LIBER PLITOR

On the details of the trial of my GGG grandmother at Castle Rushen in 1833 the header page reads:

LIBER
PLITOR
1833

I have found LIBER in my Latin-English dictionary but not PLITOR.

Searching the net the word comes up only in connection with the IoM.

Is it Manx, and in any case what does it meam?
