Back to Thomas Keig & Anne Kelly (married 1834) (many thanks for the very useful info).. I would like to know if John Keig (b Patrick 1781)& Margaret Curphey (b Patrick 1785) are Thomas' parents. I also have possible names for Anne Kelly's parents but no dates or other info... Mother Mary Kelly & Father John Corkill.. does anyone know if this is correct?
I would be very grateful for any help/advice given.
I do have another query for Donna, the info you gave me regarding Thomas Keig shows that he was buried in Patrick on 17th March 1843, but further down the list shows the christening of his youngest child Anne Keig took place on that very same day.....was this common in those days that a christening and buriel in the same immediate family would take place on the same day? How traumatic for the mother.
