MI or Burial register -Mary Ann Quine

Mary Ann Quine (Cowley) born C1815
Married 6/10/1844 Braddan
John Quine Born 12/9/1824
Child Jonathan

I am trying to find where she was buried...probably St Lukes.

She was the daughter of Ann Teare and Edward Cowley.
Her husband John died just 4 years after marriage in a mining accident, leaving her with a 2 year old child

Husband John is buried at St Lukes MI No 4- 'To the memory of John Quine of Battery Hill who departed this life on the 21st of November 1848 aged 24 years'

Son Jonathan was buried in the Cowley grandparent’s grave along with his wife Margaret at Kirk Braddan church. But no mention of his mother on the gravestone.

She was not listed on the Cowley family grave headstone or on her husbands.

I found no record of Mary Ann’s death. In the 1850's she was living at Trollaby Cottages in Marown

There was a record of her living alone in the 1881 census at ‘The Strang’ and I found her again in 1891 at the same address in Browns directory of residents.

She probably died not long after 1891 I think she was likely buried at St Lukes ( or possibly at Braddan)

As Browns directory is probably prepared sometime well in advance of publication, a better check would be the 1891 census if anyone can find her. This will help with my research in identifying her last location.
