If he was the Joseph baptised in Patrick who Len suggested, his bapt was most unlikely to have been recorded under "Chambers" - that is an invention by the IGI compilers.
It almost certainly would have been recorded as "Joseph illegitimate son of John Quilliam and Cath Chambers" (or vice versa).
