possibly the Alan Clague farming 20 acres in Rushen in 1881 (bapt in Rushen as Allen in 1832 s/o Wm & Jane Cubbon) - John James is not with him but two other children also bapt in Malew to an Alan & Janes seem to be tho their reported birth parishes are Rushen.

I can't see a marriage - not having previously looked at Malew in this period I was surprised to note the absence of the wife's family name in many records.
