I am looking for living relatives on IOM as my sister, adult children, and I will be there in June. Decendents of Phillip Shimmin of Corvalley, Ballaugh died April 28, 1894 age 92 and wife, Isabella Gelling who died Sept. 28, 1878 at age 73.
Also, Daniel Lace and Francis Elliott who were married 30 June, 1832 Saint Andrew, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northcumberland, England. Their son is my grandfather, Thomas Curry Lace 8 Jul 1834 Maughold. Married Isabella Shimmin April 10, 1856 and left for America.
