Thanks Frances, I'm not in an immediate rush, we were just 'flabbergasted' that there were a Catherine and Charles Sheard on the Island.

Thanks too Roger, I did check the LDS website but nothing came up for either a Catherine or Charles Sheard on the Island. I also tried to find out if a Charles Sheard had married a Catherine anywhere in the UK, but nothing came up.

Our nearest LDS FH centre is close to London, so not sure when I'd be able to get there. I checked the website for the FH centre in our town, and it does just cover the county.
