We all know that the 3 older Gibb brothers were born in Douglas.
It might be too confidential and not suitable for discussion on a Bulletin Board, but were they 'Manx'? I noticed that their mother, Barbara, visited the Island last year and looked at the Union Mills Post Office where she had worked and visited her parents grave. Are they Manx on either side of their family?
Obviously they have a strong affection for the Island as I understand that Maurice had the Manx flag on his coffin, in Miami.
I am simply curious whether anyone knows of their Manx connections?

p.s. I have now heard Robin's rendition of Ellan Vannin and was very pleased just how well he sings it.
