Message for Tim re Thomas Moore x2

Hi Tim,

We are both looking into the Moore family, and back in February you were hoping for clues to the parents of the following men:-

1) Thomas Moore md 13 Dec 1808 Patrick to Sarah Shimmin c 23 Sep 1787
2) Thomas Moore md 02 Sep 1809 Patrick to Anne Shimmin c 12 Sep 1789 (your 5g-grandparents)
both wives being a daughter of Philip Shimmin & Catherine Quine md 26 Jul 1787 in Patrick.

I had a couple of short visits to the MNHL last weekend and, among other things, looked at the film of the Offical Copy of Patrick marriage register. Parents'/father's names were not recorded around these dates in the Copy register; I don't know if they are in the original Register Book but there was not the opportunity to request it, if it even exists.
