I don't know Frederick Street, but if No. 14 still stands, could you knock on the door and find out who the present owner is? You could then be very cheeky and ask them if they have the Property Deeds detailing the transactions concerning the property over the years. This should name previous buyers of the property, and maybe give you some better information regarding names.

Alternatively if you wanted go more 'public' a letter to the papers might be a possible way of gathering information.
