I have some of this. Andrew Joughin and Sarah Davies were married at St. Nicholas, Liverpool 1845 July 20th. If you want to obtain a copy of the marriage certificate the Registration District is Liverpool, Vol 20, page 330. I have Andrew's ancestry for a few generations, but these are presumably not your relations.

If I read the indexes aright, Andrew and Sarah had daughters Ann (1846) and Sarah Ann (1848), and a son Andrew William (1851, posthumous), but sadly, parents and children had all died by the end of 1854. Andrew William's birth was registered in the March quarter of 1851, so either his mother was very late registering him, or the 7 months in the census was perhaps a mis-reading for 2 months. His surviving sister Sarah Ann was staying with her late father's brother's family in Bride. In about 1860 that family made a much bolder emigration, to the healthier air of New Zealand (no disrespect to Liverpool), where they all survived and produced numerous descendants, starting in the Mt. Eden district of Auckland.

If you would like to write to me at pjallen@btinternet.com, I can give a little more detail.
