I don't see a burial listed for Jane, but that is not uncommon.
The index lists only those burials that took place in Church grounds or the Douglas Bourough Cemetery.
There are many instances of persons burried on private land, though the recorded instances tend to be of well known persons.

In later years there is the practice of the scattering of ashes.
