Dear Graham Hill, C.E. Elliston, MD was my great uncle. Perhaps by now you already know that his daughter is Hope Elliston living in Castletown, IOM. She has lived on IOM since her father retired at the end of WWII. It was CEE's wife who is the Manx connection. They came to IOM after the war because he wanted to retire and housing in the UK was difficult to find. I think her family either owned the house or knew of its availability at the time. My cousin Hope can probably give you more info than you need about the house.
