Sorry I don't no His Christian name always Mr Gawne to us as we were children at the time. I do no he had 2 sons . 1 worked at Ronalsway airport and later transferred to London airport but I think he died at a young age the other was in the police in the iom. I can't remember their names at the moment as it was about 1938. If I can find their names I will get back to you I do have a photo of one of the sons taken with me and my 2 brothers outside what I think is the Harbour masters house in Derbyhaven.
