The Robert H Gill of Botchergate, Carlisle aged 6M in 1881 almost fits. But if my Robert H. Gill died on August 7th 1970 aged 88, and lets guess he was just short of his 89th birthday, he must have been born in or after August 1881, so he would not have been 6M old until 1882. So it can't be him...
