the posts on this board I believe are highly sanitized - no html markup is allowed - some of the weird posts (now removed) were possible attempts to defeat this but just produced garbage

The above words of comfort do not apply to spam received in your email inbox - I trust that all users have either ditched Outlook and Internet Explorer for a safer mail/browser programs (or have any MS product fully secured (especially turn off any preview and/or active-X scripting) as it is weaknesses in the design of these products that has allowed most viruses to propogate) - nothing however can be done to prevent the stupidity of those who click on trojan laden spam attachments other than to hope that their virus software is up to date (and of course this will not protect from new variants)
