The film number I mentioned is a film of the Lonan parish register for the time period in question. It is available at LDS (Mormon) family history centers. You rent the film, (for $5.25 in U. S.) and keep it at the Family History Center for approx. 1 month. If you are not in the U. S., the charge is doubtless more, as they send the films from Salt Lake City.

Another source for films of the IOM parish registers is the Manx Museum. I know nothing about that, except that you would have to go to the museum to view the film.
