Thanks Frances. There was a James Kelly, shoemaker as witness to Jane's marriage in 1834. Maybe a co-incidence but worth keeping in mind I guess.
Assuming this information comes from the original entry, can you tell me if both Thomas and Dorothy were entered as being from German?
