Re: How can I...
In Response To: How can I... ()

In 1881 Daniel 3, and sister Frances 5, both born in Douglas, were boarders with Thomas & Elizabeth Cowin in Conchan.
In 1891 they are in Tranmere Cheshire at 115 Borough Road RG12/2887 page 36

In 1901 Daniel J 26 Coal carter b Doulas is married to Ada M 26 b Douglas at 21 Allen St. Douglas with three sons: John F 3 , Daniel F 2 and Harold 6 months.
Isuspect that Frances was a second wife.
There is a marriage on Brian's index on January 20 1876 between Francis Cringle and Mary Ann Curtis and one on July 5 1875 between Frances Cringle and Sarah Jane McClelland. It is probably the latter as Brian has a burial on July 28 1879 of Sarah Jane Cringle age 23 in Braddan.
The 1871 census has Sara Jane McClelland School Teacher 16 b Douglas as the daugter or Sarah McClelland Widow 54 Housekeeper b Co Down Ireland. Two elder siblings, Daniel, George and Elizabeth were also born in Ireland.
I cannot locate either Frances or Francis prior to opr subsequent to 1891.
